Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Short version

Vineflow uses browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and save unfinished study work. Stripe may use cookies during checkout for payments and fraud prevention. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics on Vineflow.

1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, software development kits, pixels, tags, and server logs. These technologies can remember preferences, keep a session working, preserve drafts, measure reliability, or support security.

2. How Vineflow Uses These Technologies

Vineflow uses browser storage and, where needed, cookies for:

  • Essential functionality: account login, authentication, navigation, access control, and payment flow support.
  • Security: detecting suspicious access, maintaining secure sessions, and protecting paid content.
  • Study continuity: saving local drafts, unfinished quiz or tasting work, onboarding prompts, and temporary feature state on your device.
  • Preferences: remembering language, interface state, intro animation state, and similar choices.
  • Payments: supporting secure checkout through Stripe or other payment providers shown at checkout.

3. Categories We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies and Storage

These are needed for Vineflow to work. They support login, authentication, access control, security, and checkout. If you block them, core parts of the platform may not function.

Firebase Authentication stores the information your browser needs to keep you signed in. Signing out ends that session. Stripe uses its own checkout technologies to process your payment securely.

Preference and Local Study Storage

Some features use local storage or session storage on your device to remember language, interface state, or temporary learning work. For example, a draft answer or unfinished quiz may be stored locally until it is submitted, cleared by the feature, or deleted by you.

Analytics and Marketing Cookies

We do not use advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics on Vineflow. If we introduce optional tracking, we will explain its purpose and give you the choices required by applicable law before it starts.

Social Media Links

Our Instagram link opens Instagram. We do not embed a social media feed or tracking pixel on this site. If you follow the link, Instagram processes your visit under its own cookie and privacy policies.

4. Third-Party Technologies

Some browser technologies or technical data may be set or processed by service providers needed to run Vineflow, including:

  • Firebase/Google: authentication, database, cloud functions, hosting-related operations, security, logs, and browser storage needed to keep authentication working.
  • Stripe: checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, receipts, refunds, and payment status. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies in its own checkout and fraud prevention flows.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: delivery, reliability, security, and server logs.
  • External images and fonts: some pages load images from Unsplash or resources from Google. Your browser sends technical information, including your IP address, to retrieve those resources.
  • Social media platforms: only if you choose to click through to or interact with our Instagram profile.

These providers may process technical data such as IP address, device information, browser information, timestamps, and usage/security logs under their own terms and privacy notices.

5. US Privacy Choices

Vineflow does not currently sell personal information and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because of that, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of in the current Service.

If you are a US resident and want to exercise a privacy right or ask about opt-out choices, contact us at vineflow25@gmail.com. More detail is available in our Privacy Policy.

6. Managing Cookies and Storage

You can manage cookies and storage through your browser. Depending on your browser, you may be able to:

  • delete existing cookies and site data;
  • block cookies for all websites or specific websites;
  • clear local storage and session storage for Vineflow;
  • browse in private or incognito mode;
  • use browser extensions or privacy settings to limit tracking technologies.

Blocking or deleting essential cookies or local storage may sign you out, remove local drafts, reset preferences, interrupt checkout, or prevent parts of Vineflow from working.

7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Some browsers or extensions can send Global Privacy Control signals. Since Vineflow does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is no covered sale or sharing to opt out of in the current Service.

Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not yet standardised in a consistent way, and Vineflow does not currently respond to them as a separate technical control.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies, browser storage, analytics, advertising tools, or service providers changes.
